Shriram Capital, the parent company of the Shriram Group, has appointed Subhasri as its new Managing Director and CEO, effective September 1.
Subhasri, who started her career as an officer at Shriram Group in 1991, currently serves as the joint MD of Shriram Capital. She has previously held positions as Executive Director and CFO at Shriram City Union Finance (now Shriram Finance).
“We are happy to promote Subhasri to CEO and MD positions. Our success has been greatly attributed to her cross-functional competence, according to DV Ravi, executive vice-chairman of Shriram Capital.
Subhasri, a fellow of both the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, stated, “I am truly honored to lead Shriram Capital. This role signifies the group’s trust in my capability to steer our future.”
