Elon Musk’s multifaceted advancements in AI, especially in the fields of robots, autonomous driving, and cognitive intelligence, were praised by Jensen Huang at CES.
Elon Musk was praised by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who pointed to the tech billionaire’s noteworthy advancements in artificial intelligence.
According to Huang, Musk, a customer of Nvidia, has a significant edge in gathering data from the real world because of Tesla’s AI-enabled factories, autonomous vehicle algorithms, and sizable fleet of automobiles.
“He’s been working on this for a long time, and he has just a fantastic position,” Huang stated in a Bloomberg TV interview at CES on Tuesday. “Therefore, he will be in a great position to exploit it.”
With his work in autonomous driving at Tesla, cognitive intelligence at his xAI firm, and the Optimus humanoid robot, Huang also commended Musk for his contributions to the advancement of AI.
According to him, these three fields of artificial intelligence are the most crucial. “He’s doing precisely the right things.”
Although Musk’s influence on the AI sector will be long-lasting, Huang thinks the chip giant’s CEO hinted at a change in data processing.
Huang predicted that the shift from general-purpose computing, the previous method of computing, to accelerated computing and artificial intelligence, will occur over the course of the next several years.
